Moooi Display at Salone Del Mobile

The meaning behind this exhibition is to capture the essence of the brand Moooi through not only the furniture but also abstract art that has been inspired by original Moooi pieces. The unique wall designs match Moooi’s desire to be unexpected and beautiful. The interaction between the furniture and graphic pieces will allow viewers to connect and feel as though they are part of the art. The contrast between 2D graphics and 3D furniture creates elements of excitement and intrigue viewers when they enter the space. The space should be unexpected and breath-taking while still making visitors feel welcome.

House of Abstraction

The series of three posters all relate and work well with one another in advertising the Moooi stand at the Salone Del Mobile, due to the strong use of abstract lines within each design. The line type and movement of lines within each poster differ from one another creating contrast and bringing individuality to each piece. The use of line on each design relate to the furniture imagery selected, putting emphasis on the furniture itself by adding to its mood and atmosphere. The placement of the brand name and additional text on some of the posters have been placed vertically to play on the idea of unexpectedness and to add to the individuality of each poster design.

The posters relate to the wall graphics within the space which viewers  will discover when entering Moooi’s stand. The dominating imagery and limited text on these designs entice viewers to want to find out more about what the display is about.
